Such a privilege to join 47 people from 17 countries who became new US Citizens at the Dauphin County Courthouse on Wed, April 16, 2025!
The League handed each new citizen a packet of information about voting, including registration and mail-in ballot forms, as well as an LWV branded bag!
We heard thank-yous from so many new citizens as well as their friends and family who were in attendance; the courtroom was PACKED! Many local dignitaries: County Commissioner, State Reps, representatives of our Federal Congressional delegation, Harrisburg Mayor, former Judges also attended. A bipartisan celebration of achievement.
