With over 80 League members in the Capitol, we made a powerful showing for voting rights, equal representation, equitable education funding, and reproductive health care. We met with legislators on both sides of the aisle and did amazing work advocating for our policy priorities and building bridges for future work together. We had 11 members from the PA Capital Region League attend Lobby Day on May 5, 2025 with visits and meaningful conversations with four representatives of the PA House. In addition we were joined by two members of Fair Districts. The planning and details with 4 advocacy trainings, logistics, and policy talking points were prepared by the LWV PA with a welcome table at the Capitol. Overall the annual event was well attended by our League members who were passionate and well prepared to  meet with their legislators. We also had wonderful conversations and networking during the day.
